The Guest Experience Associate at Commons Pizza & Cinnamon Rolls is the heart of our front-of-house team, ensuring every guest has a seamless and welcoming experience. This role includes taking phone and in-person orders, running food, bussing tables, and keeping the space clean and inviting. You’ll be the bridge between our kitchen and guests, helping to create a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable dining experience.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Members of the Commons team play a vital role in upholding the warm, community-driven atmosphere that defines our space.

Direct Responsibilities (Summary):

• Greeting guests and taking phone and in-person orders with efficiency and accuracy
• Running food to tables and ensuring timely service
• Bussing tables and maintaining a clean, organized front-of-house space
• Assisting with guest inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience
• Managing transactions, processing payments, and handling the checkout counter
• Collaborating with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Some experience in hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles preferred
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor
• Ability to work on your feet for at least 6 hours, including moving, pulling, carrying, or lifting at least 40 lbs.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Flexible schedule with availability to work nights and weekends as needed
