TolHouse is seeking a dynamic, dual-skilled Bartending Server & Barista to elevate our club experience. This unique role blends the creativity of bartending with the finesse of coffee artistry, ensuring our members enjoy outstanding service throughout the day. Whether you’re shaking up cocktails during the evening or crafting specialty coffees in the morning, you’ll be an essential part of our vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft an extensive range of drinks—from cocktails (using liquors, bitters, soda, and fresh ingredients) to expertly made coffee beverages (espresso, caffe latte, cappuccino, and more).
• Follow prescribed recipes while also showcasing creative flair in drink presentation and garnishing.
• Educate Members and guests on our beverage offerings, answering questions and making recommendations.
• Prepare and maintain clean, well-stocked workstations, bars, and coffee areas (includes tasks such as silverware wrapping, garnish prep, and equipment setup).
• Process payments and manage POS transactions efficiently.
• Check identification and verify legal age requirements when serving alcoholic beverages.
• Assist with bussing tables, running food orders, and general upkeep to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Adapt between bartending and barista duties as needed to maximize service hours and support club operations.
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and stay current with beverage trends.
• Greet Members by name and provide a friendly, professional, and personalized experience.
• Serve food and beverages directly to tables when applicable, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring attention to detail in every interaction.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience or training in bartending and cocktail mixology; barista experience is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and beverage presentation.
• Proficiency with computers and POS systems.
• Strong communication, observational, and conflict resolution skills.
• Positive attitude with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours.

What We Offer:

• Base wages plus tips, with competitive hourly rates.
• Part-time opportunities ranging between 10 to 30 hours per week, with potential to switch between bartending and barista shifts to ensure ample work.
